Overview:
Developed a custom website for Living Water Swim, an organization dedicated to promoting faith, wellness, and community engagement through aquatic programs. The site serves as a central hub for class schedules, event registration, and inspirational content.
Key Contributions & Challenges:
- Custom Module Development: Built a custom Drupal module to handle unique mapping and location-based functionalities for swim venues.
- Performance Optimization: Diagnosed and resolving repeated PHP deprecation warnings to improve site stability and error log cleanliness.
- UI/UX Focus: Designed a responsive, calming interface that aligns with the organization’s mission of "Impossible Is Just A Feeling."
Outcome:
Successfully launched a functional platform for community outreach. Ongoing work includes modernizing the codebase to eliminate deprecated functions and enhance long-term maintainability.
What I Learned:
